This afternoon I was driving to Country Auto Clinic in Bismarck.
I took a turn to late and had to loop around the back way. As I drove around the back, I noticed a chain link fence with wire on top and an opening that led into a yard with numerous cars. Immediately upon seeing the fenced yard, I recalled a dream that I had in 2012. Ironically, a couple nights before I had a memory come to me from the same dream. This struck me with the timing of things in my life.
The scene with Richholt which included Gene who was the janitor was the first scene in my dream, The last segment of the dream was about 5-6 people in a group and me looking across the way realizing that the girl in the group played a significant role in my life in the future. I asked her and she responded playfully in the dream, “If you like”.
What I consider to be the primary or most impacting scene is when I saw myself in the dream, an older version of myself to be exact. I asked him “what is the most important thing?!” He responded in a serious manner, “The plan of God”.
As I watch my life play in front of me recently, I see the culmination of numerous dreams and desires. I’m starting to feel the same way I heard it in the dream… “The plan of God”
The plan of God may seem vague and at times indistinguishable. Yet it is present. Denied by some. Yet lived in part by all.
What is God presently working with you on?
He seems to give more priority to the inner working than the outward attaining. Though in order for the outward attaining, He must do the inner working. I’m choosing to be grateful for both, and see the joy in it all. Especially the parts of life that are less than pleasurable, yet still beneficial.
