I just sent the message that has been stirring in my heart.
I was able to keep it simple and come at it from love instead of fear.
I was able to be brave and send it.
Sometimes the plunges we take in life… those decisions that cast us into the arms of God’s grace alone, without the ability to retract… are the most exhilarating experiences we have, of feeling truly and completely alive.
This sense of feeling “alive” reminds me of a quote from Saint Irenaeus, “the glory of God is man fully alive”.
When I think of it, I think of the individual who is true to his heart and His God. No hiding, no cowardess… rather courage to appear as one is without additive or retraction.
To be… and to trust. This is what thrills my heart. This has been what makes my heart sing.
When I am true to God and true to my heart… aligned… one… without wavering… without shadow of turning. True. Alive. Life abundant. To know Him and His son who He has sent. These are the moments of glory and grace that can shower our life, when we align ourselves with Him and truth. What a joy it is to be fearlessly what one is, to be completely trusting in Father, instead of in self apart.
